Ordering Online
Buying online at essentialaids.com couldn't be easier. For the fastest, most efficient way to do it, simply click the 'BUY' button on the page featuring your desired product.
You will notice the details beneath 'your basket' to the right of the screen change to take account of your selection. The number of items you have chosen will register, and their total cost including postage and packaging.
To go to the next stage of your purchase, click either 'your basket' or 'pay and checkout' - either option will take you to a page showing the items you have selected plus their individual and combined price.
Here you will be given the chance to change the items in your basket, or empty it, if you want to. If you need to add anything further to your basket, simply click one of the product sections on the menu to the left of the screen, and make your way to the desired section and product.
This page also features an online form which we ask you to complete to allow us to arrange delivery of your goods.
Once you have completed this and submitted your order, you will be taken to another page where you will be asked for your debit or credit card details.

Ordering Offline
If you want to purchase something featured on this website but do not want to enter your card details online, you can send a cheque to the address below, along with the details of the items your want to buy.
Please make sure you include the total price of the item, including any VAT and carriage.
To make things simple, click the 'buy' button on the product page concerned, then click 'your basket' from menu to the right of the screen.
This will take you to a page showing the total costs involved and give you the chance to fill in your name and address.
You can then print the page, and post the print-out, along with your cheque, to:

We accept purchase orders from the NHS, publicly funded schools and certain other organisations. Please email info@essentialaids.com if you would like to know more.
Zero-Rate VAT Items
If you are legally entitled, it is possible to buy certain items at essentialaids.com at zero-rate VAT. Do do this, it is a requirement that you complete a declaration form providing your address and details of your disability. The opportunity to do this is provided on the product pages themselves.
Please note that items available at zero-rate VAT are clearly marked as such. To buy successfully, follow the specific instructions on the pages concerned.

Delivery
Orders placed online at essentialaids.com will be processed by the end of the next working day and goods are usually despatched within one or two working days of order. Occasional delays caused by items going out of stock are possible, but we work hard to keep these instances to a minimum.
