Product Details
Knit-Rite SmartKnit AFO Interface Socks are designed to be worn underneath an ankle or foot orthosis to help protect the skin and improve comfort during use. They create a smooth barrier between the orthotic device and the skin, helping to reduce friction, irritation and pressure.
The socks incorporate X-Static® The Silver Fibre™, which provides antimicrobial properties to help maintain hygiene during extended wear. The silver fibre also assists with moisture management, helping to wick moisture away from the skin and keep the foot and lower leg drier.
A seamless heel-less design allows the sock to adapt easily to different foot positions within an orthosis, while the non-binding top helps keep the sock comfortably in place without restricting circulation. The smooth construction helps reduce the risk of pressure points that may occur when wearing an orthotic device for long periods.
Suitable for daily use, the socks are machine washable and can be tumble dried for convenient care. Multiple size options are available to suit infants, children and adults.
