Brought this giant half step as i have a step outside my front door but no grab rail so decided to purchuse a half step looked at various products but either just a little step or plastic contruction i needed something that would make the door easier to access with a rollator. So when i found this step on essential aids website i was amazed at the price i got this in the sale aswell so added bonus! Was really pleased it came with 2 handrails aswell. The handrails are seperate to the main part so be warned unwrap everything together as i put the step together first and then opened the rails after realising o dear was meant to put these on before the feet! 2 seperate sets of intructions! But overall easy to put together a solid bit of kit so sturdy and well constructed solid metal i cant believe what a difference it makes to be able to step out the front door and have the space to turn around and lock the door behind me usually with the smaller steps i find i have to step down then turn around and step back up and then your backwards! I love this step it really is worth every penny i feel so much safer using this product definatly reccomend

I purchased a new bed and mattress without realising how much higher they were compared to the old ones and me being only 5ft tall I needed something to help me get into bed without a struggle. This adjustable step is ideal with just the right size surface wise. I use all four stacked and no longer fear pulling leg muscles!! Very sturdy, strong and with a bonus of being much cheaper than many other suppliers. I definitely recommend these for this purpose. No doubt very useful for many other things too.

I am happy with my purchase of the Economy drop down toilet rail. It is ready assembled straight out the box and feels sturdy and well designed. It can be easily folded up against the wall when not in use, leaving more space than the over toilet models. It also looks much tidier. It feels safe to lean on, when getting up off the toilet and takes up to 21 stones in weight. The only negative is screws aren't provided, but that seems to be the norm these days. Ordering this product was easy and dispatch and delivery was fast.

I have been looking for a tri walker with a seat for ages but they have all been too expensive till now. I have had the four wheel walker but found it very heavy and bulky to put in and out of the car. This tri walker is a blessing in disguise, it looks and is sturdy, yet it feels lite to lift and can fit in behind the front seat without any problem. I have degeneration of the spine and need to sit now every so often. Using this walker I found myself standing straighter and walking far better without having to sit down so often. As for the price, I was shocked how much cheaper it was from here so I will be looking here first in the future for anything else I need. I finally need to say the free postage did not make the delivery slow, it was super fast.

Pleased with the delivery of this chair. Needed a commode as have to get up at least three times nightly and by the time I get to my toilet I am awake and then cannot get back to sleep. It is a real convenience.

Bought for my daughter to access the house , we have a ramp access to the house but the lip of the door has proved a problem with the powered wheelchair, this ramp has provided easy access for my daughter . Great product and does the job we needed without problems for my daughter. She feels now as if she can come and go to the garden without any problems.

I am thrilled with my Power Chair, it is really helping me to get out and about. I can lift it in and out of the car boot on my own - I have to sit on the edge of the boot as I can't stand or walk - but I can do it! Debbie was so helpful in getting it to me in time for visiting my mother so we can actually go out together for the first time in years. No it isn't cheap but it is worth every penny to have some independence and freedom. The chair is comfortable but I have added an extra cushion as I have a lot of back pain. The controls are very responsive but I am getting used to them and trying not to bump into anyone. The footplates fold up really easily and the seat belt makes me feel safer. I charge the battery in the house and leave the chair in the boot and this works well. Overall a great purchase and very helpful staff so I would definitely purchase from Essential Aids again.

My wife used it for the first time the other day . Really smooth and really quiet . My last one was 54kg and even though it had suspension it was a proper boneshaker . This is like a rolls royce by comparison . And at 40kg I can lift the whole thing in the car in one go . Wish I'd got one years ago .

Feel more confident when walking with this as not too steady without. Quite slimline. The only thing that lets it down for me though are the handles are quite hard and as i can't find any soft handle grips to fit I've had to put a couple of pairs of soft socks on them. Other than that i'm pleased I purchased it especially as it's got a seat as well.

I have recently had a wet room fitted and was looking for a lighweight/foldable yet sturdy shower seat. This fits the bill perfectly. The fact that it folds is a high bonus if you don`t want to take up room when not in use. There is one thing i discovered though which i have not deducted a star for as it is easily sorted but can be quite annoying the first time it happens....the legs fill up with water due to the holes in legs for height adjustment purposes. I only realised this when lifting chair to fold and take through to bedroom and water started spouting out of all the holes. I just took the leg sections of to dry out then have covered holes i don`t need with silver duct tape....sorted. Overall i would highly recommend this shower seat

Bought for my 85 year old mum who has dementia and was adamant she didn’t want an “old people’s chair”! She gets tired easily and goes to find somewhere to sit down and I inevitably lose her! Now she sits where I can see her, she uses it all the time and feels a lot more confident. It’s light, easy to manoeuvre, she’s had it l SS than a week and wouldn’t be without it, nor would I 😊

I find this footboard exceptionally helpful. I have problems with my back and sleep propped up with wedge pillows, this footboard has been a game changer as it stops me sliding down the bed. I wished I had found it sooner.

This table is great. Easy to put up. My mum loves it & nothing falls off unlike the one in the nursing home, where her dinner ended up in her lap. There were 2 scratches on the table top when it came out of them box but I needed it for the next day so just kept it. I also thought it will probably get a few more as it is highly glossed. I ordered 1 day & it was delivered the next day, great service & great value for money!

Lots of suckers do it doesn’t move at all. Soft feel under foot. I’ve not tried to wash it yesterday but I don’t think that will be a problem. Quite attractive looking. Very pleased. Quickly delivered& well packed.

Having just had total hip replacement surgery getting in & out of bed is a nightmare. With my Swivel Seat placed in the right place my legs can be lifted & my body rotated into bed. The seat is strong enough to take my whole weight & very softly padded - excellent quality & depth to swivel with ease. I also used it to access the car on day of discharge. Probably my best buy in preparation for this surgery - it takes a lot of pain & shuffling away. Delivered very quickly, well packaged & an excellent price. Highly recommended.
