The Kings Button Hook is a practical dressing aid designed to help individuals who find buttoning clothing difficult due to reduced hand strength, limited dexterity or physical disability. It supports greater independence by allowing buttons to be fastened using one hand.
The shaped stainless steel wire loop is passed through the buttonhole, hooked around the button and then gently twisted and pulled back to guide the button through. This method reduces the need for fine finger movements and tight pinch grip.
A chunky plastic handle provides a secure and comfortable hold, making it easier to control the movement of the hook. Lightweight and simple to use, it is suitable for shirts, blouses, jackets and other buttoned garments.
