Each canopy is supplied in the correct size for the chosen Invacare model, creating a secure and stable enclosure that shields the rider from wind, rain, glare and airborne debris. This sheltered environment helps make everyday journeys more comfortable, particularly for users who face unpredictable weather or spend long periods outdoors.
A lightweight powder coated aluminium frame supports the canopy without significantly increasing the scooter’s overall weight, helping maintain travel range and smooth handling. The waterproof nylon covering provides reliable protection from rain and quickly sheds water, keeping the inside dry and pleasant. Clear Perspex windows offer wide visibility in all directions, supporting safe navigation on pavements, in car parks and through busy areas.
Zipped polypropylene side panels can be opened fully for ventilation on warmer days or closed securely when the weather turns cold or wet. This allows the user to adjust the level of protection to suit the conditions. For added flexibility, the canopy folds down in around thirty seconds, making it easy to alternate between enclosed and open riding as needed. A protective cover keeps the folded frame clean and ready for the next outing.
