The InstaFold Powerchair is back and is even better! Based on our original best selling InstaFold, we have retained the easy folding design as well as adding front suspension to give you a more comfortable ride, giving you an all-round excellent electric wheelchair solution.

The innovative easy folding mechanism is different to other electric wheelchairs and simply folds all the way down with one action, similarly to the way you would fold down a children’s pushchair resulting in a more compact size which is ideal for travel & transportation. With this in mind, the electric wheelchair has the ability to fit into even the smaller car boots and allows it to be stored inside the home without hindrance.

With a lightweight aluminium frame that weighs only 25kg makes it easier to manage when transferring the electric wheelchair to and from your vehicle. The Instafold powerchair includes a modern, lightweight 24 v 10ah Lithium battery which is airline friendly. These batteries are widely used in used in portable electronic devices and are being utilised more and more for mobility products because of their lightweight and portable size. The InstaFold also has a USB port so you can charge your mobile phone (please note that USB charging will reduce the battery life by 4%).

When fully charged the battery will travel up to 7.5 miles, thanks to the batteries small size an additional battery can be charged and carried in the storage bag underneath the chair to provide you will additional range should you be travelling that extra mile.

The InstaFold Powerchair also shows off a fresh new design with a metallic silver finish frame and stylish black and silver wheel hubs with easy to clean and virtually maintenance free puncture proof tyres.

    I bought this for my daughter after they returned from a holiday in canada where she had hired a travel buggy. The instafold wheelchair is very similar at a cheaper price. She tells me that the instafold is actually better, easier to control and more comfortable. The chair folds up easily and unfolds in one easy move. We ordered the chair from essentialaids after seeing an advert. The price was fantastic. Ordered on one evening and it arrived within two working days and was well packaged. fantastic service and would recommend and buy again.

    This has been a life changer for my partner. she couldn’t enjoy our shopping trips & days out any more. Now she’s able to get out & about & reclaim her independence again. we can lift it in & out of her car easily, but she needs a ramp to do it on her own. Small price to pay to see her happy again.

    This is great. I haven’t used it outside yet due to bad weather but very happy with it so far.very comfortable and turns on a tight circle which is handy as I don’t have much room.

    This is brilliant all the others I looked at were so much more expensive. I normally go out and about oa a mobility scooter but I broke a wrist so couldn't control it . The wheelchair stops me from being stuck indoors. thanks.

    I can't thank essential aids enough for my daughter loves her new chair,when I was told they don't normally deliver to northern ireland my heart sunk but the fella who I was dealing with assured me that he would get it delivered.. Anyone thinking about buying a chair,i can't recommend these good people enough 5 star service, keep up the good work folks ??
