This Lightweight Aluminium Wheelchair is an economical option that still retains a lot of high quality features.

With an aluminium frame, it is both sturdy and lightweight. It is available as self-propelled or attendant-propelled versions.

When combined with its folding design, this makes the Lightweight Wheelchair easy to transport and store.

On the self-propelled version, the large rear wheels and pneumatic tyres ensure a smooth and comfortable ride. They also easily detach when the chair is not in use. Handrails on the wheels enable self-propulsion, and the front wheels swivel for enhanced manoeuvrability.

The transit, or attendant-propelled, version of the chair has smaller and lighter rear wheels as well as cable brakes on rear handles to allow immediate access for the attendant to reduce speed or lock brakes for parking.

Comfort is assured by the flexible nylon seat and backrest, and by the padded armrests.

A pair of footrests gives the user more stability and can be used for re-positioning in the chair.

These can also be height adjusted to give each user the correct leg placement.

The seatbelt adds safety and can be used to aid with posture.
