The Weight Bearing Corner Stairs are a purpose-built rehabilitation aid designed to support patients during physical therapy and mobility training. This unit features two sets of steps arranged in an L-shaped corner configuration. One side includes three steps, each 20cm high, while the adjacent side has four steps at 15cm high. This variation allows therapists to tailor sessions to suit the patient#39;s stage of recovery or mobility level. At the top of the steps is a spacious 68cm x 68cm platform. This stable area offers a secure space where the patient can reposition themselves before descending, making it easier to practice balance and coordination from either side.

Supporting users up to 180kg (28 stone), the stairs are equipped with robust, powder-coated steel handrails that provide reassurance and safety. The handrails are fully adjustable in height, from 40cm to 90cm, ensuring they can be adapted to each user#39;s comfort and support needs. The design also features forward-extending handrails, which are especially helpful for first-step knee flexion exercises and for aiding wheelchair transfers—an important aspect of many rehabilitation programmes.
