The electric Sterling two section couch is the ideal solution for assessing and treating patients for a wide range of examination procedures.
The couch has a safe working load of 200kg, and its height can be electronically adjusted at the touch of the button, ensuring smooth transitioning from 46cm to 99cm. This model comes with a hand switch fitted as standard, although a foot switch can be fitted if this is your preference (please see accessories in this category).
A gas assisted adjustable back section from -20° to 85° supports the patient for treatment or examinations in the seated position, as well as being fully adjustable for more manipulative upper body procedures. Side support rails and cushions can be added to provide extra security during treatments and additionally, an optional breathing hole and plug can be added for prone treatments.
The couch is fitted with four durable, individual locking castors meaning the couch can be securely held in a static position, but is portable when required,
With its standard 63cm wide Easy Clean Upholstery, hygiene is a priority. The staple and crease free construction aids infection prevention, as well as being easy to clean. The couch also features clearance for mobile hoists, allowing it to be lowered to facilitate wheelchair transfers.
