The Aston Bariatric Mobile Shower Commode Chair XXL is designed for users who require additional seating space and a higher weight capacity during personal care. Its substantial aluminium frame supports up to 300kg (47.2 st), while the extra-wide 70cm (27.6") seat provides generous room for comfortable positioning.

Suitable for both showering and toileting, the chair can be used with the supplied removable commode pan and lid or positioned over a compatible toilet. Its horseshoe-shaped seat incorporates an aperture for hygiene access, while the removable aperture cover provides a more complete seating surface when required. The seat itself can also be removed to make routine cleaning easier.

Transfers and assisted care are made more straightforward by padded flip-up armrests and swing-away footrests. The footrests can be removed completely when necessary, while the individual footplates are adjustable for both height and angle to provide appropriate lower-leg and foot support.

Four braked castors allow a carer to manoeuvre the chair around the bathroom and secure it once correctly positioned. The castor positions can also be adjusted, providing a seat height range of 51-56cm (20.1-22") and underseat clearance of 43-48cm (16.9-18.9"). This adjustment can be particularly useful when matching the chair to the user or positioning it over a suitable toilet.
