The TransAqua Shower Commode Chair is designed to provide a versatile solution for users who require support with toileting and showering. It can be used as a commode or within a shower, helping reduce the need for multiple pieces of equipment and minimising transfers.
The chair is made from stainless steel, offering durability and resistance to corrosion in wet environments. A padded, removable seat provides comfort during use, while also being sealed to prevent water ingress and treated with an anti-fungal agent to support hygiene.
Swing-away and removable armrests and footplates make transfers easier, while locking mechanisms help keep them securely in place during use. Braked castors allow the chair to be moved and positioned safely, and anti-tip bars provide additional stability.
Available with a choice of aperture sizes, the chair can be selected to suit individual needs. It can also be cleaned using autoclave cycles, making it suitable for both domestic and care environments.
