The arm rests themselves can be raised independently so as to allow entry or exit to or from the toilet from either side or from the front.

The simple height adjustable feature of bthis seat means that it can be set at 3 different height levels, from a minimum seat raise of 65mm (2.5"), to a maximum raise of 135mm (5.25"), with a 100mm (4") raise in the middle.
