    Bought this for mum as well don't have a downstairs loo. Sturdy, easy to fold and assemble, and packs flat when not needed. Would recommend.

    Family member has a broken ankle and is unable to weight bare on that leg.temporary commode was needed. This was a perfect solution and could be stored away when not needed. Very pleased with it thank you essentialaids.

    Light but stable. would be good if lid would fit onto the bowl while attached to the chair. otherwise excellent and easy to open and close. Closes thin, so easy to store and very comfortable. I think a good buy for the price. I would not hesitate to recommend.

    This is a great accessory for use when going away for an overnight stay with friends, it saves going to the bathroom in the middle of the night in a strange place. It folds up into an easy packable size and is light and easy to carry.

    Does what it says on the box. Easy to just do the clips and hey presto its ready to use. Not put tot he test yet as its for a relative who is staying but ive sat on it to test drive and seems fine.

    Product came packaged well and in acceptable time. Well designed and sturdy. My mum has not used it yet but I can see she would have no problems as someone has said before it would have been good if their was a lid for it whilst in use but I will use the pot cover just to rest over it. Folds down well. I bought it for travelling and I can see it will go easily in the boot of a car.

    Easy to put up but struggled with the potty bit. thought the lid would fit when potty is in place but I assume only to use after potty is removed from the seat. all new for me as I brought for parents but very happy with item.

    For £38 this is excellent value, I bought it for my 93 year old father, when he occasionally visits, now that he cannot manage my stairs. i like the idea I can fold it down and put it in a cupboard out of sight when not needed, but it's still sturdy enough for my father push himself up from it . my only gripe, is that there is no cover for the seat. So pot has to be emptied every time commode is used, which is a bit tedious for those who have to do the job!

    Easy to unfold and slide in pot. Sturdy. Only downside is that the lid for pot only fits when pot is removed from commode.

    I brought this as I am a wheelchair user and needed one to have at my daughter’s house. it is basic however, I am a plus size woman and could sit well. It has done the job it was brought for; excellent value for money.

    It is well designed and easy to clean. My partner has mobility and orientation issues which makes accessing a toilet at night [when staying in a hotel] quite challenging. this was an ideal and safe solution.

    Very pleased with the quality. I only needed a commode for a few weeks so for the price expected a rather flimsy item. Not so, it is well made and strong and folds easily. I have sat on it to check how stable it feels and it is very good with no flexing so I have total confidence in using it. Highly recommend.

    Have only given 4 stars fir time being as bought this for my mother but as yet not unpacked and not taken to her. a good price and great it is foldable to store or pack into car to take away. happy to review its functionality and sturdiness once it is used.

    My husband is about to have a replacement hip operation and though we realise he will be encouraged to walk up and downstairs very soon after- our stairs are deep and steep between the toilet on the first floor and the sitting room on the ground floor and we thought keeping that folding commode downstairs for emergencies would be sensible. It folds easily and close together and is covered neatly by a large black bin bag under our stairs and it was a very reasonable price. What not to like even if it’s not in use for long?
