Extending from the foot to the thigh, Fitlegs Open Toe Compression Stockings with Grip Soles are intended for people with very limited mobility who require medical-grade anti-embolism compression. They may be used during a hospital stay or following discharge when continued use of compression stockings has been recommended.

A key difference with this Fitlegs AES Grip version is the silicone grip incorporated into the soles. It gives the wearer additional traction underfoot when getting out of bed, standing or transferring, without requiring a separate non-slip sock over the compression stocking.

Graduated compression delivers 18mmHg at the ankle, with the level of pressure reducing further up the leg. This supports venous blood flow and helps reduce the risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) during periods of significantly reduced mobility, including recovery following surgery.

The toes remain uncovered, giving carers and healthcare professionals convenient access when the feet, skin or circulation need to be checked. A loose weave around the toe area assists with inspection, while the heel pad adds comfort during prolonged wear. The stockings have a universal fit rather than separate left and right versions and are latex free.
