The BigTel 40 Plus is an easy to use amplified corded telephone designed to offer clearer communication and simpler dialling for people with hearing, visual or dexterity difficulties. Powered directly through the telephone line, it requires no additional power supply, making it straightforward to set up in any home.
To support users who benefit from visual prompts, the phone includes six programmable photo memory buttons. These allow favourite contacts to be dialled instantly by pressing their picture, which is especially helpful for people living with dementia or cognitive impairment. Large, high contrast buttons make dialling easier, while ten additional speed-dial entries help keep important numbers close at hand.
Sound quality can be tailored to the user thanks to adjustable earpiece and ringer volume, with the receiver capable of amplifying up to 40dB and the ringer up to 90dB. Tone control further improves clarity for those with hearing loss. The BigTel 40 Plus is hearing aid compatible and includes a visual ringer indicator to support users with reduced hearing.
