The Nurse Alert with Small Sensor Mat is a tamper resistant bed and chair alarm system designed to alert carers when a patient leaves their bed or seat. Designed for people with a history of switching alarms off, the local unit cannot be armed, disarmed or reset by the user. These functions are instead controlled by an infrared remote fob that can be kept by a carer, helping reduce the risk of interference.

The system can operate using a switchable pressure on or off sensor mat, allowing carers to tailor monitoring to different situations. When used in pressure off mode, the mat is positioned beneath the patient, while pressure on mode places the mat in front of them to detect standing. Bed mats are laid across the mattress to register movement clearly.

Housed in a tough resin case with protective rubber edges, the unit is built for everyday use in care environments. It includes a mounting bracket, low battery warning and the ability to connect to multipoint nurse call systems for discreet monitoring when required. Designed to work with Nutrix alarm accessories, the mat is made to be durable while remaining comfortable for regular contact.
