This superb quality barrier cream creates a thin protective layer over the skin, preventing urine, feces or sweat coming into contact with, and causing irritation to the skin. This very effective barrier cream helps to prevent potentially serious health problems such as sores or incontinence associated dermatitis. In addition to preventing future health issues, this cream can also be used on existing damaged skin, intensely moisturising and helping to heal injured tissue.

The Cavilon barrier cream formula is very highly concentrated, meaning only a small amount is required to effectively treat and protect the skin. Applying too much will result in the skin feeling greasy or oily. Cavilon barrier cream is also very long-lasting, durable, and wash resistant, so will not need to be reapplied after every wash.

Dressings, tapes and pads can also be applied as the cream will not prevent them from sticking. Unlike other creams, Cavilon barrier cream will not clog dressings or pads, so incontinence pads will remain effective whilst using the barrier cream. The barrier cream is hypoallergenic and pH-balanced.

This gentle cream is widely used and can assist in preventing skin conditions such as dermatitis, eczema, nappy rash or dry and cracked skin. This cream is extremely hydrating and can be used on already damaged skin to prevent further injury and aid in the healing process.

The perfume and paraben-free formula ensure that this cream is perfect for those with sensitive skin.
