The Millie Mova Chair Aid is a practical manual handling system designed to help carers move a seated person safely and smoothly without lifting or straining. Fixed discreetly to most four-legged chairs, including wooden chairs, metal chairs and many armchairs, it allows the chair to glide forwards or backwards when needed while remaining completely stable at all other times. This makes everyday tasks such as positioning a user at a table or moving them away from it far safer and easier for both carer and user.

Using a simple foot-operated lever, the Millie Mova activates a rear wheel mechanism that slightly lifts the front legs of the chair. This lets the chair roll smoothly without dragging, protecting the floor and extending the life of the chair. When the lever is released the wheels disengage automatically, preventing unwanted movement and allowing the user to lean on the chair without risk of slipping. This brake system is especially reassuring for people who are unsteady on their feet and rely on the chair for support during transfers.
