It provides a stable bridge between a wheelchair and the toilet, helping to maintain dignity and confidence for those who may otherwise find the movement difficult. It can be used independently where suitable, or with assistance if additional support is needed.
Made from strong fibreglass, the board is sturdy yet lightweight enough to handle with ease. Cut-outs on the sides help position the board securely around the wheelchair wheel, while non-slip pads on the underside help to keep it firmly in place during the transfer. A central cut-out allows the user to remain seated on the board while using the toilet, reducing the need for further repositioning and making the process simpler and more comfortable.
