The beams are lightweight to make them easy to transport, making them ideal for carers who move between homes and clinics.
They are also extremely accurate, and will weigh in 100g (4oz) increments.
A TARE function accounts for the weight of the wheelchair, and for extra information the scale also calculates Body Mass Index (BMI).
To enable extended and continuous use, the rechargeable battery will give 80 hours of life.
The maximum user weight of the MPWS - Marsden Portable Wheelchair Weigh Beams with BMI is 300kg (47 stone).
A carry case is available to make transportation even easier.
