This Cervical Thoracic and Lumbar Spine Orthosis is useful for a range of applications.
It can be used to support the lumbar spine, stabilise multiple level and burst fractures, in addition to attenuating conditions such as stenosis and spondylosis.
This versatile design makes it useful for trauma patients, as well those post surgery and sufferers of chronic conditions.
The Cervical Thoracic and Lumbar Spine Orthosis consists of a large torso section, connected to a chest pad, mandible support and occipital pad.
It effectively stabilises the spine, head and neck and prevents unwanted flexion, rotation, extension and lateral movement.
A construction from low-density polyethylene gives the Cervical Thoracic and Lumbar Spine Orthosis excellent strength and rigidity without making it too heavy.
The system is interchangeable and can be heat moulded, giving many different size and fit options.
Soft foam padding offers the wearer comfort, and can be removed for washing.
A removable lumbar insert is also included.
