The Seren Powerchair is a premium electric wheelchair engineered for users who demand refined control, comfort and agility in both indoor spaces and controlled outdoor environments such as shopping centres or town centres.
At its core, the Seren uses a mid-wheel drive system with six wheels, giving it an exceptionally tight turning circle and stable footprint. This makes it ideal for navigating narrow corridors, around furniture, and in busy spaces — where larger chairs can feel cumbersome. The Dynamic Shark controller delivers precise, smooth responsiveness that helps reduce jerky movement and builds user confidence, even at slow speeds or when steering close to obstacles.
Comfort has been carefully considered at every stage. The padded captain’s seat with adjustable headrest offers excellent postural support for long periods of use, while the swivel seat dramatically eases transfers on and off the powerchair. Height and width adjustable armrests with soft PU arm pads allow users to tailor support to their needs, and they flip up simply to facilitate side transfers or closer access to tables.
Ride quality is also enhanced through front and rear suspension combined with solid pneumatic-style tyres — middle wheels are 25cm (10") with 15cm (6") front and rear castors — helping absorb everyday bumps and providing a smoother, more comfortable experience on slightly uneven surfaces.
A single centre-mount footplate ensures a stable leg support position without cluttering space underneath, while the crash-tested frame means the Seren is suitable for adapted vehicle transport, allowing users to remain seated safely during transit.
The power system comprises two 36Ah lead-acid batteries with onboard charging, delivering a top speed of 4mph and a real-world range of up to 12 miles (19km), subject to weight, terrain, and conditions. With a generous 135kg (21 st) user limit and a robust 420W motor, the Seren balances capability with everyday practicality.
