Built from high-strength aluminium, the Atom Propel provides a stable and supportive frame while remaining much lighter than traditional steel models. This makes it easier to lift into a car boot, manage on public transport or manoeuvre in smaller indoor spaces. The chair also folds quickly by lowering the backrest and lifting the seat, producing a compact shape that helps with storage in tight areas. The rear wheels can be removed at the touch of a button to reduce the lifting weight even further.

Comfort has been given careful consideration. A breathable, padded cushion helps support users during longer periods of sitting, and optional elevating leg rests are available for those who need additional leg support or pressure relief. Solid polyurethane tyres provide a smooth, puncture-free ride, reducing the need for ongoing maintenance. Both user and attendant brakes are included to offer reliable control on slopes and uneven surfaces.
