The SecuCare Threshold Ramp Extension Pieces are designed to widen compatible SecuCare Threshold Ramps, making them suitable for larger wheelchairs, mobility scooters and other mobility aids. By increasing the usable width of the ramp, they provide additional clearance and reassurance when crossing door thresholds, helping users navigate more confidently.
The added width also helps reduce the risk of wheels slipping over the edge of the ramp, improving safety for both independent users and carers. Designed specifically for the SecuCare modular threshold ramp system, each extension kit fits securely to create a stable, reliable platform without affecting the ramp's performance.
Four extension kits are available, each designed to match one of the SecuCare Threshold Ramp height options. Each kit increases the overall ramp width by 24cm, making it easy to tailor the ramp to individual accessibility requirements.
