The Harley 11 degree Hip Wedge is designed to tilt the user's pelvis, keeping the spine in a natural, comfortable position.

It promotes good posture and can significantly decrease discomfort in the legs and lower back.

Available as standard model or with a coccyx cut-out section, it has an optimum 11 degree angle.

The coccyx cut-out model of the Harley 11 degree Hip Wedge further reduces pressure at the base of the spine, where many people experience sensitivity.

Supplied with a luxury velour cover, the cushions dimensions are 36 x 36 x 10cm (14 x 14 x 4 inches).

    This cushion is well made and the angle comfortable to sit on in the car, causing less pain to my groin area and the coccyx cut it is sufficient. It is firmer than others I have used so I don't think it will compress and stay thin as quickly. However, it is a little too firm for my preference, for a longer journey.

    Having spoken to the staff at the nursing home, they tell me that the cushion works very well for the purpose for which it was bought. I would give it a rating of four out of five.

    My physio recommended that I purchase a wedge cushion (giving a basic specification) as an additional aid to help relieve the calcification/tendonitis of my ischial tubrosity. This device has been useful in relieving the pressure on the said area at the same time improving my spinal posture! The service I have received from essential aids has been friendly, fast and efficient without breaking the bank! I would rate your service as 5/5.
