The MP5 Nocturnal Epileptic Convulsion Monitor with Nurse Call Connection is an essential safety aid for people who are likely to suffer seizures during sleep.
It can detect grand mal seizures and then alert the appropriate carer or family member.
It is ideal for use in clinical or care-home settings, or for people who live at home but would like additional security.
A sensor is inserted under the mattress, and when a seizure is detected it will connect to a telephone auto-dialler, alarm or nurse call system.
To enable connectivity, a standard mono jack plug with two metre (79 inches) lead is included.
The MP5 Nocturnal Epileptic Convulsion Monitor with Nurse Call Connection is not suitable for users under 25.4kg (4 stone).
It is not suitable as a warning system for partial seizures or seizures without movement.
