Product Details

As a warning system for night time seizures, the MP5 Nocturnal Epileptic Convulsion Seizure Monitor is perfect.

A sensor is situated under the mattress, and if seizure occurs a remotely-connected pager will emit an alarm.

This allows for individuals who may suffer from seizures to sleep alone, but without losing out on safety.

The sensor can only be used to detect grand mal seizures; partial or seizures without movement are not detected.

The pager has a range of up to 100m (328 feet), making it suitable for use in a clinical, care home or domestic setting.

A two metre (3 1/4 foot) connector lead is included.

The sensor also has a built in microphone that will detect the groaning that often precedes seizures.

Two pagers are included, each with a belt-clip, vibrating and tone alert and flashing light alert.

The minimum user weight of the MP5 Nocturnal Epileptic Convulsion Seizure Monitor is 25.4kg (4 stone).

Two AA batteries are required and supplied.
