Our MP5 Seizure Monitor For Children is an alert system for use at night.
It allows carers or family members to be alerted if a child has a seizure during sleep.
A sensor is inserted under the mattress that will detect abnormal amounts of movement.
It also has a built in microphone to recognise grunts and groans that can often come before a seizure.
The sensor will then send an alert to the remote pager, notifying the caregiver than a seizure is occurring.
A vibrating, tone and flashing light alert make the pager effective at alerting the wearer.
The monitor has a 100 metre (328 feet) range, making it suitable for use in care homes, hospitals and a domestic environment.
It runs on mains power and a connector with a two metre lead is included.
Grand pal seizures can be detected by the sensor, but partial seizures or those that do not involve movement are not covered.
The minimum user weight of the MP5 Seizure Monitor For Children is 25.4kg (4 stone).
Two pagers are supplied with batteries.
