The Nurse Alert with Large Sensor Mat is a tamper resistant monitoring system designed to warn carers when someone rises from a bed or chair. It is particularly suited to individuals who may try to disable alarms, as arming, disarming and resetting are controlled only via an infrared remote fob held by staff or family members.
The unit works with a pressure sensitive mat that can be set to activate when weight is applied or removed, giving flexibility for different care situations. For bed use, the mat is positioned across the mattress, while chair monitoring places the mat beneath or in front of the user depending on the selected mode.
Built for demanding care environments, the alarm unit is housed in a tough resin casing with protective rubber edging. A mounting bracket is included for secure installation, and a low battery warning helps ensure the system remains reliable. The alarm can also be linked to multipoint nurse call systems to allow discreet alerts where required.
This version includes a larger mat, offering broader coverage for beds or seating areas while retaining the same controlled operation and durability.
