The Chillax Smart Giraffe Portable Camera Wi-Fi Baby Monitor combines a rechargeable Full HD camera with a dedicated 5-inch parent unit, giving you the flexibility to monitor your baby both at home and while travelling. Unlike a fixed camera, the portable design features a built-in rechargeable battery, allowing it to be used in places where mains power isn't available, such as the garden, pram, car or when staying away from home.
The camera features a flexible arm and clip mount, making it easy to attach securely to cots, pushchairs, travel cots and furniture where traditional baby monitors may not fit. Its versatile design allows you to position the camera for the best possible view of your child.
The system can be used via the parent unit for local monitoring or connected to the ChillaxCare app for remote viewing on a compatible smartphone or tablet. A dedicated Wi-Fi on/off switch on the camera lets you enable or disable internet connectivity whenever required, giving you greater control over privacy while still allowing remote access when desired.
The Full HD 1080p camera provides clear video throughout the day and automatically switches to infrared night vision in darker conditions. Automatic LED dimming reduces light disturbance, while room temperature monitoring, sound notifications and motion alerts help keep you informed of changes in your baby's environment.
The 5-inch HD colour parent unit offers up to 8 hours of battery life and includes two-way talk, sound indicator lights, lullabies and soothing nature sounds to help comfort your baby remotely. Dedicated buttons also allow you to record feeds and nappy changes directly from the parent unit.
Using the ChillaxCare app, you can access live video streaming, receive sound, motion and temperature alerts, capture unlimited screenshots and enable motion-activated recording using a microSD card (up to 128GB, sold separately). Enhanced 256-bit end-to-end encryption helps protect your video stream and personal information for added peace of mind.
