The FlexiMove Slide Sheet is a versatile patient handling aid that assists with repositioning, turning and transferring users in bed or other care environments. Combining a flexible support board with soft foam padding, it helps provide comfort for the user while making movement tasks easier for carers.
Designed primarily for moving users further up a bed, turning from side to side and performing lateral transfers, the smooth underside helps the sheet glide across surfaces with reduced friction. This can lessen the physical effort required during repositioning tasks and improve comfort for the user. In situations where lifting cannot be avoided, the FlexiMove can also assist with certain seated and supine transfers where appropriate risk assessments have been carried out.
The liquid-repellent nylon cover is durable and easy to clean, while the integrated tubular handles provide secure grip points for carers. Available in two sizes, the Midi version is suited to a wide range of repositioning tasks, while the longer Maxi version offers greater body coverage and additional handles for enhanced control during transfers.
