Made from a special certified flame-retardant material in spacer fabric, this sling ensures not only a secure and comfortable experience but also meets stringent safety standards.
The innovative design is not only environmentally friendly but has also undergone third-party testing against EN 1021 parts 1 and 2, guaranteeing compliance with rigorous industry benchmarks.
Hammock style slings like this in the Invacare Comfort Slings range are ideally suited to those with chronic pain. The Comfort slings are also useful for above-the-knee amputees.
A risk assessment by a healthcare professional relating to skin integrity and pressure ulcer risk must be carried out before leaving a sling in situ for a prolonged period.
Please note, when left in place for prolonged periods the client should be regularly re-positioned in line with local health authority pressure ulcer prevention protocols.

Medium Sling (Yellow Binding) - user weight: 40 - 90kgs (6.3 - 14.1 st)
Large Sling (Blue Binding) - user weight: 80 - 130kgs (12.6 - 20.4 st)
Extra-Large Sling (Black Binding) - user weight: 120 - 250kgs (18.9 - 39 st)
