The Rota Stand Solo Patient Turner is a high quality moving and handling transfer aid that is an updated version of the incredibly popular original Rota Stand Patient Turner. The Rota Stand Solo Patient Turner features an additional special mechanism on its base that allows the user to be transferred from a sitting position to a standing position with the aid of a single carer. This greatly reduces the time it takes to complete these moving and handling tasks, and therefore also helps to reduce the cost of the staff required to perform these roles, making this transfer aid ideal for use in a care environment.
The T bar mechanism built into the base of the Rota Stand Solo, allows the user to act as their own counterbalance by standing on the bar and thereby using their own weight to secure themselves. This leaves the carer more able to assist the user.
