The LEJRELET Oval Positioning Pillow is a compact positioning aid designed to provide targeted support wherever a small amount of additional cushioning is needed. Its versatile size makes it ideal for use alongside larger positioning cushions or on its own to support specific areas of the body.
Filled with viscoelastic foam granules, the pillow moulds easily to the body's shape and can even be formed into a doughnut shape to relieve pressure on vulnerable areas such as the ears, elbows or hands. This makes it particularly useful for helping to prevent pressure ulcers while improving comfort during prolonged periods in bed.
The pillow can also be used as a lumbar support cushion, a knee abduction cushion or to support a weakened or paretic hand. It is equally effective for making small adjustments to a person's position, helping to redistribute pressure without the need for a full reposition. This can be especially beneficial for people who find larger movements uncomfortable or disruptive.
The waterproof, vapour-permeable cover features a two-way stretch design that enhances the pressure-relieving properties of the filling. It is antibacterial treated, resistant to house dust mites, biocompatible, Oeko-TEX Class 1 certified and fire retardant to Crib 5 standards.
