The LEJRELET Positioning Wedge is designed to provide stable, comfortable support when positioning people in bed. Its anatomical wedge shape makes it particularly suitable for placing behind the back or in front of the chest, helping to maintain comfortable and well-supported side-lying positions during care or rest.
The wedge combines a supportive polyurethane foam core with a 2cm layer of viscoelastic foam, providing the firmness needed for effective positioning while helping to redistribute pressure. This combination offers stable support without compromising comfort, making it suitable for prolonged use.
Its shape and slip-resistant cover make the wedge especially useful when creating stable side-lying positions for personal care, dressing, wound care or relaxation. It can also be used to create a customised knee bend, allowing support to be positioned exactly beneath the knees rather than relying solely on the profiling functions of a care bed.
The waterproof, vapour-permeable cover features a two-way stretch design that enhances the pressure-relieving properties of the foam. It is antibacterial treated, resistant to house dust mites, biocompatible, Oeko-TEX Class 1 certified and fire retardant to Crib 5 standards.
