Product Details
The Neuro-X AFO is a lightweight ankle foot orthosis designed to improve walking safety and stability for people affected by foot drop. By helping to elevate the foot during the swing phase of gait, it reduces the risk of trips and falls while promoting a more natural walking pattern. It is suitable for people recovering from stroke, those living with multiple sclerosis and other neurological conditions that affect foot control.
Designed for both daytime and overnight use, the Neuro-X helps maintain the foot in a neutral position and true alignment, while also assisting with the management of emerging spasticity. Available in a range of sizes for either the left or right foot, the orthosis features an adjustable elastic tensioning system that allows support levels to be tailored to the user's needs, helping to improve toe clearance and ankle stability during walking.
Supplied with a comfort pad set, the Neuro-X can be customised for improved comfort and fit. The orthosis may be thermoformed or trimmed by a trained orthotist if required, allowing further adjustment to suit individual anatomy. For safe use, it should be worn with a closed, non-slip shoe.
