Product Details
This Paediatric Hip Abduction Splint is specifically designed for young children with congenital dislocation of the hip.
It holds the hip joint in an abducted and flexed position, ensuring the head of the femur is in a stable position.
With a closed-cell foam inner liner, the Paediatric Hip Abduction Splint is comfortable, aiding with compliance.
Secure hook and loop fasteners hold it in the correct position.
The fixed version holds the hip in 90 degrees of flexion and 60 degrees of abduction.
An adjustable version that allows the abduction to be controlled between 40 and 180 degrees can also be supplied.
