The Hinged Swedish Knee Cage is designed to support those who experience knee hyperextension (Genu Recurvatum) or instability caused by conditions such as MS, ligament injury, or post-trauma weakness. Unlike basic knee supports, this brace is engineered to control how far the knee can extend, helping to prevent the joint from locking backwards while still allowing comfortable forward flexion for walking and sitting.
Its lightweight aluminium frame provides structured stability without feeling heavy, and the bilateral hinges ensure that the brace remains flush to the leg, even when seated—meaning it won’t dig in or protrude above or below the knee. Soft hook-and-loop straps secure the brace in place and can be easily adjusted for daily comfort.
This knee brace is designed to be fitted while seated, with the knee at a 90° angle, to ensure correct positioning and effectiveness. Available in two sizes to accommodate various leg shapes and conditions.
