The Footshield-II Shoe with Hex Insole is a specialised piece of temporary footwear designed to meet the clinical needs of patients requiring pressure redistribution in the forefoot, accommodation of dressings, or managing at-risk feet.
Developed through a systematic review and extensive research by TalarMade Ltd, this shoe is crafted to reduce and redistribute plantar foot pressures effectively, ensuring optimal protection and comfort.
The Footshield-II features an evidence-based rocker sole, a 10° toe-out angle, and a removable memory foam insole, all designed to alleviate pressure and provide stability.
This shoe is used in conjunction with the Hex plantar foot offloading insole for enhanced support, although it is available in this category without the Hex insole.
It is available in both left and right models and includes a removable toe cap, making it a versatile solution for various foot conditions.
