The Days heavy duty self-propelled wheelchair is designed for users who need a stronger and more supportive mobility aid. Suitable for bariatric users or those requiring a wider seat and reinforced frame, it provides reliable support for everyday use both indoors and outdoors.
Made from heavy-gauge steel tubing, this bariatric wheelchair offers increased strength compared to standard models. The double cross-bracing adds further stability, helping the chair remain secure and steady during use. The reinforced fabric seat is designed to support higher user weights while maintaining comfort over longer periods.
The wheelchair can be folded to a more compact size for storage or transport, making it easier to fit into a car or store when not in use. The moulded armrests and footplates provide additional support and can be swung out of the way to make transfers on and off the chair easier for both users and carers.
This heavy duty wheelchair supports users weighing up to 140kg (22 stone) and is suitable for a range of care environments. Optional accessories, including desk arms, elevating leg rests, and an IV pole, are available separately to adapt the chair to individual needs.
