The Yo-Yo Self Propelled Wheelchair combines independent mobility with a suspension system that helps cushion bumps and reduce jolting when travelling. Suitable for solid indoor floors and firm outdoor pathways, it provides a more comfortable ride across the varied surfaces encountered during everyday journeys.
Large rear wheels with hand rims allow suitable users to propel the wheelchair themselves, while push handles at the rear give a carer the option to assist. The chair has a 44cm (17.3") wide seat, supportive fabric backrest and padded armrests for everyday comfort.
Height-adjustable footrests can be set to suit the user's lower-leg length, helping provide appropriate support when seated. They also swing out of the way to create more room when getting into or out of the wheelchair.
Suspension is combined with a folding frame and fold-down backrest, making the Yo-yo easier to store or transport when not in use. Rear-wheel parking brakes allow the chair to be secured while stationary and should be applied before transfers. The wheelchair supports a maximum user weight of 100kg (15.7 st).
