The Dyna-Tek Profile Wheelchair Cushion is shaped specifically to provide comfortable pressure care and postural support for wheelchair users. Its contoured foam surface helps maintain a more stable seated position while redistributing pressure across the areas in contact with the cushion.
A dedicated ischial tuberosity well helps position and stabilise the pelvis, while sculpted thigh supports encourage the legs to remain comfortably aligned. Together, these features provide greater postural control than a conventional flat wheelchair cushion and can help improve comfort during prolonged periods of sitting.
The cushion is made from supportive CME foam and accommodates wheelchair users weighing up to 114kg (18 st). Its 5cm (2") profile provides pressure redistribution without adding excessive height to the wheelchair seat.
A multi-stretch, vapour-permeable cover helps reduce friction and shear while allowing moisture vapour to escape. The cover contains an anti-fungal agent and can be laundered at temperatures up to 80°C. A non-slip base is also available to help keep the cushion correctly positioned on the wheelchair seat.
