The Propad Wheelchair Cushion is designed for users who require a high level of pressure management. Its castellated foam structure works to redistribute weight across the seating surface, helping to reduce pressure on vulnerable areas during prolonged sitting.
Each foam section includes a “keyhole” cut, allowing air to circulate through the cushion. This helps manage heat and moisture build-up, supporting skin integrity and reducing the risk of maceration. The cushion is supplied with a two-way stretch polyurethane cover that is water-resistant, vapour-permeable, and wipe clean. This supports both comfort and hygiene, making it suitable for regular use in care environments. A non-slip base helps keep the cushion securely in place when in use.
