Product Details
The Lightweight Fold Out Suitcase Ramp provides a practical way to overcome steps, kerbs and other changes in level when accessing homes, buildings or suitable vehicles. Its robust aluminium construction combines a high load capacity with a portable design, making the ramp useful where permanent access equipment is not required.
The ramp folds lengthways to approximately half its full width, creating a narrower suitcase-style shape for carrying and storage. A sturdy carry handle makes transportation easier, while locking points help keep the ramp securely folded when it is being moved or stored.
For greater grip in different weather conditions, the aluminium surface features a milled non-slip tread. Raised edges run along either side of the ramp to provide an additional boundary for wheelchair wheels, while stainless-steel fittings and rust-resistant aluminium construction make it suitable for regular use.
Three lengths are available to accommodate different access requirements: 61cm (2ft), 91cm (3ft) and 152cm (5ft). All three versions measure 74cm (29.1") wide when open and fold down to 37cm (14.6") wide. Despite the differences in length and weight, each ramp has the same maximum load capacity of 272kg (42.8 st).
