It is designed to not require any counterbalancing when the patient pulls themselves up from a seated position.

The time involved and cost of each transfer is therefore significantly reduced.

A set of four castors enables the stand to be wheeled into position easily.

The handle bar can be used for positioning, and also as a grab handle by the patient.

A padded shinguard lends extra support to the user, and the handlebar is height adjustable to suit each individual.

A maximum safe user weight of 200kg (30 stone) applies to the Rota Stand Solo.
