The Walk Safe Walking Frame is designed to support safer, more natural movement indoors for people who need extra stability when walking. It is particularly helpful for users who find traditional walking frames awkward to manoeuvre, especially when turning, and for those who want a frame that feels more controlled and confidence-giving in everyday use around the home.

Developed in partnership with the University of Salford, the Walk Safe Walking Frame uses an innovative wheel system that allows the user to turn smoothly without needing to lift the frame. The front castors are designed to guide movement naturally during turns, then return to a forward-facing position when walking straight, helping the user feel more in control. This can make walking indoors feel less effortful and more fluid compared to conventional frames.

Comfort and practicality are built into the design. Cushioned upper handles provide a secure, comfortable grip, while additional lower handles offer support when standing up from or sitting down on a chair, bed, or sofa. A combined rear glide and pressure brake allows smooth movement across household floors, with controlled stopping when downward pressure is applied. The fully welded frame offers durability for regular use, yet remains lightweight enough to handle easily. The frame can also be separated into two parts, making it easier to store or transport when needed.

The Walk Safe Walking Frame is available in two sizes, Medium and Large, both adjustable in height and width to suit different users and home environments.
