The Marlin Pro 205E Mobile Hoist is a high-specification patient lifting hoist designed to support the safe transfer of elderly or disabled people with limited mobility. Built for professional and home care environments, it is engineered to promote safer handling while reducing physical strain on carers, supporting efficient single-handed care where appropriate.
Manufactured from high-quality powder-coated steel, the hoist offers excellent strength, durability, and ease of cleaning, making it suitable for frequent daily use. Electric leg opening is supplied as standard, allowing carers to adjust the base width smoothly and precisely when positioning the hoist around chairs, wheelchairs, or beds. This improves control during transfers and helps ensure correct positioning without unnecessary effort.
The hoist is operated using a wired Linak handset, providing simple and reliable control of the lifting and leg-opening functions. Built-in safety features include an emergency stop button and emergency manual lowering, offering reassurance in the event of power failure. A unique integrated foot bar helps protect the actuator from accidental damage while also assisting carers when manoeuvring the hoist into position. Dual braked rear castors support stability and controlled movement during use.
Designed with practicality in mind, the Marlin Pro 205E features an ergonomically shaped handle to suit carers of different heights and statures. Tool-free assembly allows the hoist to be assembled, disassembled, or transported easily, supporting both operational flexibility and recycling at end of life. With a high lifting capacity and robust construction, this mobile hoist is well suited to demanding care environments where reliability, safety, and ease of use are essential.
