The Atlas 3 Transfer Disc is a patient turner that has been specifically designed for indoor use and that provides additional support for transfers for both users and carers when rising from and lowering into a seated position. This sturdy turner allows for safe and smooth transfers from bed to chair, chair to wheelchair, or bed to commode.
To ensure maximum user comfort and safety, both the handle and knee pads are easily height adjustable, making sure the correct positioning for the user is achieved during transfers. For safety the carer must always act as a counterbalance when using the Atlas 3, and the user must be able to grasp the handles and support their own weight and maintain balance.
The standing platform of this transfer aid is covered has a non-slip mat surface to prevent the user slipping during a transfer.
