This Rota Stand Patient Turner is the perfect aid for those day to day swivel transfers, and has been specifically designed and developed to allow a carer to perform a safe and secure assisted transfer from one seated position to another. This makes it the ideal aid for transferring people in or out of a wheelchair, dining chair, armchair or a bed.
The Rota Stand features a rotating footplate with a handlebar and frame attached to it, and the frame, with its built in shin pad, and turntable combine to give optimum safety and comfort for both the carer and the user during the transfer.
When positioned in front of a seat, the user can support themselves with the handle and rise up out of the chair. Once standing, the rotating footplate enables the user to swivel to the desired position and reverse the process to sit back down. In this way, the Rota Stand makes transfers safer and easier for both the user and any caregivers involved.
The Rota Stand's handle is height adjustable allowing it to be positioned exactly to give maximum support to the user to suit all and has a foot pedal break to secure the turntable. The Rota Stand also features wheels on the bottom to enable easy positioning, and a foot brake to secure the footplate.

It works really well!
