phase ii multi podus ankle support

Product Details

The Phase II Multi Podus® Ankle Support is designed to help maintain and improve ankle positioning in patients with limited mobility, neurological conditions and musculoskeletal injuries. Suitable for use with drop foot, contractures, brain injuries, CVA (stroke) and Achilles tendon rupture, it provides a controlled static stretch that can assist rehabilitation and ongoing positioning programmes.

Its adjustable support bar allows the ankle to be positioned incrementally between 10° of dorsiflexion and 40° of plantarflexion, enabling clinicians and carers to tailor the level of stretch to the individual's needs. Unlike serial casting, the support can be removed easily for washing, skin inspection and therapy sessions.

A floating heel design completely relieves pressure on the heel, helping to improve comfort and reduce the risk of pressure damage during prolonged bed rest. The reinforced ankle section provides additional support for users affected by increased muscle tone or spasticity, while the integrated rotator bar helps control leg and hip rotation to promote improved alignment.

Available in a range of sizes to suit different foot and calf dimensions.
